Learn about meteors and meteor showers with Discovery Center Educator John Gianforte. Then enjoy a variety of meteors on display and watch as a meteorite is cut open with meteorite experts, Mike and Jane Gallant – and take home your very own piece of “space”! NASA MESSENGER Educator Dr. Christina Dorr and Discovery Center Educator Joan Blackwood will be present with more hands-on activities. There will be plenty of objects to touch and discover in this family oriented interactive program in the new education group room!

Following the program will be a FREE Skywatch outside with the New Hampshire Astronomical Society. Telescope viewing begins at dusk (weather permitting).

Recommended for ages 5+. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Exhibit area will be closed after 5 PM and unavailable during this program. Complimentary exhibit hall passes will be issued to everyone in attendance.
