Participate in experiments and solar-science demonstrations including magnetism, detecting infrared and UV light, spectroscopy, the 2012 Fraud, NASA broadcasting and craft activities. If the sky is clear, observe the Sun through the Discovery Center’s observatory telescopes for solar spectroscopy in action. And, at the moment of the Equinox, “sight the Sun” at the outdoor Human Sundial exhibit!

Special planetarium show schedule includes Our Place in Space at 11 AM, Family of the Sun at 12 PM, Equinox at 1 PM and 3 PM, Tonight’s Sky at 2 PM, and IBEX: Search for the Edge of the Solar System at 4 PM.
