The Cassini mission at Saturn has been extended through 2017. At that time, there are plans to alter the orbit inside the rings and eventually terminate the mission with a crash into Saturn (to avoid contaminating any moons with Earth organisms). Join amateur astronomer Ted Blank as he discusses the high points of discovery, current findings, and the future of Cassini.
