For ten weeks during the summer of 2010, Space Grant Intern Tim Taber lived and worked at the largest single aperture radio telescope in the world, Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico. Taber will discuss his research, explain the operations of the 1,000 foot telescope, and show photos from his adventures around the observatory and the beautiful island of Puerto Rico.

From east: Rt 4 W to I-393 W. Take exit 1 and follow the signs to the Discovery Center parking lot.

Look for the 92' tall Mercury-Redstone Rocket at the entry! Parking is FREE!
