This live presentation features fun and surprising demonstrations that seem like magic, but can be figured out by thinking scientifically! There will be demonstrations of chemistry, electricity, and temperature , and a finale featuring a real bed of nails! Watch a balloon serve as a pincushion. Witness liquids mysteriously change color.

You might learn how to snatch a tablecloth without disturbing the items on top, make a balloon fireproof, and use electromagnetism to defy gravity. Then find out how SCIENCE makes such amazing “tricks” possible. For the grand finale, the Museum of Science presenter will lie on a bed of nails!

This program is for ages 7 and up. Children younger than 7 must sit with a parent.
