Join amateur astronomer and Discovery Center Educator Matt Amar as he unveils the persona of Galileo Galilee and reveals little known facts about the man and his ambitions. Using the Discovery Center’s state-of-the-art digital theater, Matt will take you on a virtual tour of the Sun, Moon, Venus and Jupiter.
Discover how telescopic observation of these four objects changed how we look at the universe forever. Then visit the observatory for a live telescopic view of Jupiter, the Galilean Moons, and other night sky jewels!
