402 years ago Galileo discovered moons around Jupiter and viewed the phases of Venus.

Learn about Galileo, Mars, Saturn, Jupiter and its moons, and phases of Venus with Discovery Center Educator Matt Amar. Then – take a live look at Venus, Mars and Jupiter and its moons from the Discovery Center’s observatory.

The Discovery Center observatory will be open from 7-10 PM. Following the program will be a FREE Skywatch outside with the New Hampshire Astronomical Society including personal telescope advice and assistance. Telescope viewing begins at 7 PM.

From north or south: I-93 to exit 15 E (I-393) in Concord, NH. Take exit 1 and follow the signs to the Discovery Center parking lot.

From east: Rt 4 W to I-393 W. Take exit 1 and follow the signs to the Discovery Center parking lot.

Look for the 92' tall Mercury-Redstone Rocket at the entry!
