The Summer Solstice occurs at 7:09 PM on June 20. Learn what causes the solstice and its significance as Archaeoastronomer and Discovery Center Educator RP Hale uses the power of the planetarium theater to enhance your understanding and experience of this once-a-year event.

Our exhibit gallery will be open until 9pm.

Important Note: Please arrive at least one half hour before show time - due to the dark theater environment, no late seating or readmission into the theater is permitted.
