The dwarf planet Pluto is in its best viewing position of the year this night – it’s called opposition.

Discovery Center Educator Mal Cameron will share the latest details we know about Pluto, its four moons and the New Horizons mission en route to Pluto. Weather permitting, we will have a look at Pluto through the observatory telescope. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

Important Note: Please arrive at least one half hour before show time - due to the dark theater environment, no late seating or readmission into the theater is permitted.
