The museum is located under the smokestack in the historic Francis Cabot Lowell Mill in the center of Waltham, Massachusetts, just 10 miles west of downtown Boston. From the North or South: From Interstate 95/Route 128, take exit 26 (Route 20 East) for 1.6 miles. At Waltham Common, turn right onto Moody St. Cross the river, turn left onto Pine St, and left onto Cooper St into the Embassy Theater parking lot. Then follow the signs and cross the footbridge. The museum entrance is below the smokestack. Do not park at the museum’s back door. Your car may be towed.
We do not have handicapped parking, but arrangements can be made.
