Did you know that humans are primates, just like gorillas, baboons, and lemurs?
There is so much to celebrate, and learn, about the relationship to our closest cousins.
Come “monkey around” with primate-inspired activities and crafts at the Primate Pajama Party at the South Shore Natural Science Center, on Saturday, November 15th from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
Professor Claire Gold of the Human Origins Workshop will provide museum quality fossil casts of several human and primate species for examination by attendees.
The Human Origins Workshop is a traveling fossil workshop for K-12 students, providing tangible evidence illustrating the journey of our human ancestors.
You’ll be able to explore the fossil evidence and evolutionary trends which led to the emergence of modern humans.
This family drop-in program is suitable for all ages, and is free with admission.
If you really want to unlock your inner primate, flaunt your best primate-inspired pajamas for free admission!
