Scratch is a free computer programming language and online community where you can code and create your own interactive stories, games, and animations.
Scratch Day is for people of all ages and all levels of experience with Scratch.
We'll have workshops for people who are just getting started with Scratch and for those who have been Scratching for years.
Teachers, bring your students!
Parents, bring your children!
Children, bring you parents and teachers!
Festivities will run from 10am to 12pm.
After a brief opening ceremony, children and families can choose from a variety of activities, including Getting Started with Scratch, Scratch workshop for parents, Hip Hop Scratch Dance Party, MaKey MaKey musical instruments, Scratch Jr., Extending Scratch, and more!
Please bring your own laptop if you have one.
A limited number of computers will be available for people who do not bring their own.
If you do not already have an account on the Scratch website, please join Scratch before Scratch Day.

Scratch Day is a free event, open to the public.
