This winter, visitors to the Museum of Science, Boston can marvel at the engineering wonders of the railroad with a host of exhibits and programming dedicated to the transportation achievement of trains.
Opening November 18th, the Museum’s newest exhibit, All Aboard! Trains at Science Park, will explore the perspectives of scale and dimension amongst a 24 x 34’ snow-capped model railway.
You can also check out smaller wooden train tables where you can lay your own tracks and engineer layouts—moving trains by hand and around curves.
Expert train model makers are on hand on select days—creating tiny trees, adjusting tracks—so you can ask questions and learn more about the art and science behind model making. It’s a great way to welcome the winter season with your friends and family at the Museum of Science!
On exhibit November 18th through January 6th
