Build a solution to a real problem faced by a person with a disability in this hands-on engineering challenge at the Leventhal-Sidman JCC (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton on Sunday, February 9 from 1-3pm.
Kids will get to hear the story of a person with a disability, then identify an existing design flaw that prevents this person from participating fully in society.
Through creativity, ingenuity and hard work, kids will be inclusive design engineers for the afternoon, imagining and then designing solutions.
Use your ingenuity to make a real difference in someone's life!
For children 8-12 years.
Cost $18; JCC member cost $15.
For more information, contact discoveryclub@jccgb.org.
In partnership with Gateways: Access to Jewish Education.
