Families, Educators, and Youth Group Leaders: Take your kids on a summer adventure to a nearby home or business that incorporates renewable energy. Learn together about safe renewable energy choices and take actions through hands-on, community-based learning projects. Be inspired and empowered as a family to take that next step towards sustainable and healthy living practices. Be agents of positive change. Kids can earn certificates and patches or pins for their work.

Enter through NESEA’s Clean Energy for a Clean Environment web page, and you will find a wealth of great resources, including the program guides, energy glossaries, educational activities, project ideas, and renewable energy destination sites to visit throughout Massachusetts. The Clean Green Power Project is suitable for ages 5 and up, and the Wind Wisdom program for ages 10 and up. Patches are FREE for Massachusetts residents and $5.00 for others. Girl Scouts completing either or both of these programs earn special Girl Scout patches. The Clean Energy for a Clean Environment project is funded through a grant from the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative.
