In Plymouth Colony during the early 1600s, there were plentiful forests, ideal for producing charcoal. Over a six-day period, Plimoth Plantation invites visitors to watch and learn about the many stages in the process of creating fuel for working iron. Stop by to see this amazing process as we make fuel for the fire!
