The celebraton includes:
Cardboard Boat Race Challenge - 3-5:30pm:
Participants are challenged to design, construct and race a boat made of cardboard across a body of water (about 25 yards). The boat needs to not only float, but also carry the weight of 2 people. Prizes awarded to: Fastest Boat in each division; Best Sinking; Best River Habitat Design. Register to participate or watch some videos of last year's action!
Picnic Concert, 6-9pm:
Set up your blanket and picnic in the Old Manse orchard and enjoy music by a local band/singing group. S'mores available at the Solstice Fire pit!
Singing on The Old North Bridge, 8-9pm:
Join Voices for the Earth in song on the Old North Bridge -- or paddle your canoe/kayak in the Concord River below. Either way, a memorable way to start the Summer.
