This is the first year that Harvard's Board of Selectmen voted to allow the museum to sponsor FIREWORKS. The wide lawn, which offers a spectacular view from Mount Wachusett to Monadnock by day, will provide an excellent vantage point for the evening's patriotic display. After 5pm, food will be available as well as ice cream, soft drinks and beer and wine (limited to tent location). Catering by Quarterdeck including lobster rolls, salmon sandwiches, burgers & dogs. Museum galleries will be open from 5-7pm - Live music throughout the evening.
Suggested donation to Fruitlands for Independence Day Celebrations after 5pm is $5.00 and/or a donation of a non-perishable item to Loaves and Fishes to be collected at the gate.
Grounds will be closed from 4-5pm for Fireworks Display setup. Day visitors will be readmitted free for Fireworks display.
