All princesses, pirates, dragons and friends are invited to descend upon the hill behind the Winchester Library at 9:45. The Horribles Costume Parade will leave at 10:00 and march through town to the Town Common led by the Winchester Music School and the spooky tunes of Don’t Mean a Thing.
After the parade, families can visit 50+ participating downtown stores for trick-or-treating. Be on the lookout for orange balloons that will be placed outside participating stores so trick-or-treaters will know where Halloween bounty can be found! We thank Shanahan Real Estate Group for generously donating the balloons.
Following trick-or-treating, holiday revelers can head over to the Town Hall auditorium for a Halloween party that is free and open for all to enjoy. The party, which begins at 11 a.m., will feature musical entertainment provided by Roger Ticknell as well as Halloween games, crafts, and snacks. So dress up your storm troopers, witches, and bumble bees and join in the fun!
We thank our event sponsors, Harrison Mulhern Architects, McGarry Family Chiropractic, Pywell Contracting Services and Club Z! In-Home Tutoring Services for their generous support in helping to make this event happen. We also thank the Town of Winchester and Mahoney’s Garden Center for providing materials and support that will ensure a memory making day for all.
