Recommended ages 12 and older.
Guests travel to a parking area deep in the woods behind the 33 acre farm. They first enter “Theatre Macabre”, an outdoor courtyard, and are treated to a live-action stage show that combines a unique mixture of action and dark humor, which helps set the spooky atmosphere for the evening.
Featured character “Shredder” (and friends) will return to the stage again this year.
From there, the audience travels to the adjoining “Nye Manor”, a multi-level haunted house, where the audience is separated into small groups as they enter.
Once inside, visitors quickly learn that the only escape available is through dark, winding passageways. Audiences thrill to encounter exhibits containing horrible monsters and other frightening scenarios (all in good fun, naturally), on their way to the exit.
“Nye Manor” has undergone extensive renovations and is all-new for 2012. Caution: Smoke machines, strobe lights, and lasers will be in use, along with loud noises, uneven flooring, and areas of complete darkness.
The Harvest of Horrors will be open on October 6, 7, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, & 27. Gates open at 6:30 pm, with the last ticket sold at 9:00 pm each night.
