The Museum will be open on Monday Nov. 11 from 10:00 to 3:00 in honor of Veterans DayThere will be stamp scavenger hunts, making collections of stamps about presidents, animals and states, arts and crafts with stamps and stamp games and puzzles.
Children will receive free packets of stamps. Each child can also become a free kids member of the Museum.
Activities will include decorating Trick-or-Treat bags and pumpkins with stamps, a Halloween Stamp Designing Contest, Halloween Stamp Hunts, stamp related games and puzzles for prizes and arts and crafts using stamps.
Children can make Halloween envelopes to send spooky greetings to friends with the Museum providing the free postage.
Children who wear their Halloween costumes will receive free admission. Why not come as a mail carrier?
All children can also have their picture made into a stamp and will receive a free packet of stamps. Free refreshments.
October is also National Stamp Collecting Month. In celebration of the month, the Museum is offering free stamps.
