Why not spend the day at Hale with your family hiking, building shelters and fires, and, if there is snow, sledding, snowshoeing and building a winter igloo?
It is a great way to get stir crazy kids out into the fresh air and to catch up around the fire with friends, neighbors and new Hale families.
When you get cold, come into the beautiful Powissett Lodge for some hot cocoa and board games.
What to bring: lunch, warm clothes, and a smile!
If there is snow on the ground, you may bring your sled.
