The day will start with the Little Pumpkin Duathlon.
All legs of this event will take place within the Salem Common.
Participants will be running/riding on hard packed gravel, cement and grass.
The course length depends on the age of the child.
The following are the different age groups along with their respective course details:
Ages 4-5: .15 mile run/ .5 mile bike / .15 mile run Ages 6-8: .25 mile run/ 1 mile bike / .25 mile run Ages 9-11: .5 mile run/ 1.5 mile bike / .5 mile run This event kicks off Pumpkin Palooza which opens to the public at 11am and will include a kids fun zone, Pumpkin tasting, Pumpkin Painting, Pumpkin Relay Races and more.
