Visitors will be able to explore all parts of the museum, including its current special exhibitions focused on two-time artist-in-residence Charmaine Wheatley and 15th-century Venetian painter Carlo Crivelli.
There will be music in the courtyard, discussions in the Living Room with Hawley and other museum staff, and opportunities to make art in the studio, as well as plant chrysanthemums in the greenhouse.
The Gardner’s resident chamber orchestra, A Far Cry, will perform in the morning.
Free admission will be available at the Museum entrance on Saturday, November 21 starting at 11 am, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Entry is timed every 30 minutes beginning at 11 am, with the last entry at 4:30 pm.
Due to capacity regulations, the Museum may only admit a specific number of visitors at once. For your safety and the safety of the collection, visitors may be asked to wait in line to enter.
Admission includes access to the entire Museum, Intro Talks, and special exhibitions Ornament and Illusion: Carlo Crivelli of Venice and Charmaine Wheatley: Souvenirs.
