Follow the Green Trail! In an effort to help Boston residents enjoy parks in the winter, Lights in the Necklace has officially launched through March 31st courtesy of the Emerald Necklace Conservancy. Selected bridges throughout the Emerald Necklace will be lit green via battery-powered LEDSs. You can check them out from dusk until 9pm daily.
The Emerald Necklace’s 1,100 acres are home to more than 30 bridges. Connecting neighbors and bridging communities is what the Necklace was designed to do nearly 150 years ago by famed landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted.
