Enjoy a festive display of holiday lights, with outdoor seating and concessions this season. Stroll by, or stop in for a bit.
The official tree lighting will take place on December 8. 2022. Enjoy an afternoon filled with holiday festivities beginning at 4pm including:
Be sure to check out our grove of 50 trees of various sizes, shapes and decoration in the fountain area too.

- Live ice sculpture carving starting at 4pm
- Live aerialist performances
- Live holiday performances throughout the night
- Holiday tree lighting at 6pm featuring Danny Ryan, David Halbert and special guests
Worried about keeping warm? We have you covered! Enjoy warm beverages, plenty of heat lamps, hand warmers and Anchor fleece blankets! Not to mention our made-to-order s'mores and hot cocoa

The Anchor is open 7 days a week until New Year's Eve with lots of fun programs & events! All ages welcome, and always open to the public.

Approximately a 15 minute leisurely walk from the Orange, Green and Commuter Rail lines at North Station as well as the orange line's stop at Community College/Bunker Hill.

Dedicated ride sharing drop-off location at the foot of dry dock #2, next to the USS Constitution Museum
Driving
Easy access from route 93, route 1 and Storrow Drive. GPS to Shipyard Park and 1st Avenue, Boston. Both street parking and multiple pay lots are available.
Cycling and Blue Bikes
The Anchor has its own bike rack for our visitors and a Blue Bike hub is less than a 60 second walk.
Walking and Freedom Trail
The Anchor rests on the scenic Harbor Walk inside of the Navy Yard and is at the foot of the Freedom Trail adjacent to the USS Constitution Museum.
