While here, find inspiration from our model ship exhibit Masters in Miniature. In the hands of a creative kid – or kid at heart – a pile of colorful bricks can become an aircraft carrier, a party boat, or USS Constitution!
All ages are invited to build and enter their ships into the annual USS Constitution Museum’s LEGO® Ship Shape Competition. For 2023, there are two options: in-person or at home. Details are below, and all entrants must follow these rules:
- One entry per day.
- All ships will be judged based on originality, aesthetics (looks), and difficulty of construction.
- Entries must be your own creation, not a LEGO® designed kit or a project found online, in a magazine, etc.
- Your ship should be no larger than two standard 32 x 32 stud baseplates.
Builders of all ages are welcome to enter.
