The Marblehead Little Theatre Children’s Theatre Company will be performing an original whimsical musical, “Elfenwood,” at the Marblehead Little Theatre on 12 School St., Marblehead. The show is written by children for children.

“Elfenwood” features 30 young local performers. Children under the age of 11 should be accompanied by an adult.

Tickets are $5. The box office will be open one hour before show time, but early purchase is highly recommended as the last children’s theater production was completely sold out.

Marblehead Little Theatre is one of the oldest nonprofit community theaters in New England. All proceeds go to the renovation of the historic firehouse on School Street. Membership is open to all. For information on tickets and upcoming children’s winter theater classes, call 781-631-9697.
