Patriot Place, in partnership with the Temple Sinai of Sharon, will light the next candle of the Holiday Menorah located at the Dean College Stage outside of Bar Louie and Citizen Crust. This family-friendly event will feature the lighting of the menorah, music, games, sufganiyot (jelly doughnuts), hot chocolate and more.
The fun gets underway at Splitsville Luxury Lanes beginning at 2:30 p.m., as children of all ages can enjoy Hanukkah-themed games, activities and crafts.
Each child will also have the opportunity to build their very own Menorah, thanks to the generous support of Chabad Center Mansfield. Guests are encouraged to sign up for this free event in advance here.
The celebration continues at the Dean College Stage from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m., featuring music, giveaways and appearances from Pat Patriot, the New England Patriots cheerleaders and Slyde.
Families can also enjoy a family photo opportunity, dreidel game learn-and-play and delicious treats including Dunkin’ hot chocolate, homemade latkes courtesy of Citizen Crust, sufganiyot (jelly doughnuts) courtesy of Zayde’s Market and Gelt coins courtesy of It’Sugar. Rabbi Joseph B. Meszler and Rabbi Julie Zupan from Temple Sinai will also light the fourth candle on the menorah to celebrate the fourth night of Hannukah at 4:30 p.m.
Patriot Place also encourages guests to spread the joy this holiday season by bringing a new or gently used coat or hat/glove set to donate to Cradles to Crayons, an organization dedicated to providing families in need with winter essentials.
