Somerville's annual Patriots Day celebration will take place at Foss Park with Colonial games, songs, and music, and a reenactment of Paul Revere’s Midnight Ride from Boston through Somerville to Lexington.

Paul Revere will be greeted this year by his wife Rachel, a local re-enactor dressed in authentic costume. Attendees are also encouraged to dress in traditional colonial clothing. Children will receive a “Colonial Times Passport” and are invited to participate in the various games that will be set up in six stations at Foss Park. Upon completion of all six game stations, youth participants will receive a small prize. In keeping with both colonial custom and the Shape Up Somerville Program, healthy refreshments will be available.

For more information, contact Preservation Planner Kristi Chase at 617-625-6600, ext 2525.
