Segway Experience Tours at Patriot Place
Segway, Inc. and Patriot Place have teamed up to create an unforgettable summer experience. From the beautiful Ocean Spray Cranberry Bog, to the chic restaurant and entertainment district, you’ll effortlessly glide while seeing the hidden treasures, and learning the history behind Patriot Place and Gillette Stadium. With a guide to show you the basics of riding, and use their local knowledge to give you the best tour content – you're in for the perfect Segway PT experience!
* Tours are limited to those 14 years of age or older and weigh between 100-260 lbs. All tours begin with product orientation and helmets are required for the entire duration of the tour.
Training & Touring
The two-hour long Segway Personal Transporter (PT) tour starts off with a product orientation within the indoor training space. Guests will become comfortable with the machines by participating in final drills outside of the center.
Once trained, the riders will embark on a fun and adventurous educational tour of Patriot Place. Guests will be provided with a radio and earpiece while a guide gives them tour content along with actual sound audio clips of memorable moments at the former Foxboro Stadium and Gillette Stadium.
The Segway Experience Center will be open from May 21, 2011 until July 31, 2011, located near the ticket office for Gillette Stadium.
