Japanese New Year Celebration at the Peabody Essex Museum
Come celebrate the Japanese New Year with the Peabody Essex Museum! Take part in our family arts activities of creating nengajo (Japanese New Year cards), and decorating a traditional Japanese Daruma doll. This year the Odaiko New England dance group will perform the traditional Japanese Lion Dance and host a workshop with visitors to teach the art of dance. Don’t miss out on this great cultural experience. Participation in the Japanese New Year Celebration is FREE with museum admission
