Auburn Mall’s Simon Kidgits Club celebrates the environment and encourages an appreciation of nature and Earth’s resources, while promoting family-fun activities that bring kids and parents together. In the spirit of Earth Day, kids and parents can learn about environmental appreciation, conservation and recycling through hands-on gardening activities, games, and a special preview of a new “Handy Manny” environmentally-themed episode.

Sponsored by Playhouse Disney’s 'Handy Manny,' the event will promote kids' understanding of nature and how every-day items can be reused. Event activities include “Manny’s Mini Garden,” where kids will plant flower seeds in cardboard egg cartons, and “Manny’s Pitch In Recycling Game,” a green twist on a familiar basketball game. The fun continues as kids can color and decorate cardboard toolboxes just like Handy Manny’s. They will also receive helpful “green” tips and be eligible to win prizes and other giveaways from Playhouse Disney.
