Highlights for this family-friendly event include a full program of music, dance, and performances reflective of the community’s diverse cultures, with light-themed art activities guided by the community’s teen artists. A centerpiece sculpture is being created by acclaimed artists Chris Harvey, Olivia Robinson, and Jesse Stiles.

In The Harmonic Center of the Universe, a luminous orb hovers on a 16-foot tall bamboo tripod, swathed in garlands of lights. A seat suspended below the structure will beckon attendees to sit and activate the flow of animated lights and music

Harmony Park is located at the corners of Cross and Cork Streets in the Acre neighborhood of Lowell, and next to Saint Patrick Church. Directions by car: From either Rt 495 (Exit 35C), or Rt 3 (exit 30N Northbound or 30A Southbound) take the Lowell Connector to Thorndike Street (Exit 5B). At 4th light, Thorndike St merges onto Dutton Street. Go to the next light and turn left onto Broadway Street. After 1/8 mile, turn right on Adams, and then right on Cross Street. The park is 1 block down on the right hand side. Directions by train, take the downtown shuttle bus from Gallagher Terminal, getting off at the Dutton Street and Broadway intersection. Cross Dutton Street onto Broadway Street; walk down Broadway 5 blocks and turn right onto Cork Street. The park is one block away.
