Every third Saturday of the month, the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway Conservancy invites families, adventurists, book-lovers, history-buffs, and anyone interested in getting to know the Greenway to join them for free treasure hunts on the Greenway and the chance to meet best-selling illustrator Peter H. Reynolds.

The treasure hunts celebrate the newest book in the award-winning Judy Moody and Stink series that Peter H. Reynolds creates with author Megan McDonald: Judy Moody & Stink: The Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad Treasure Hunt. Each treasure hunt will focus on one of the four Greenway parks, the neighborhood surrounding the park, and its unique characteristics.

On July 18, our hunt focuses on the Wharf District Parks and is “Independence” themed. See www.hellogreenway.org for more information and for information on subsequent hunts. Treasure hunt provider, Ultimate Treasure Hunts, a leader in educational hunts and orienteering, has created the Greenway Treasure Hunt with the Conservancy to help participants see how the Greenway is connected to Boston’s past, present and future.

Participants will build self-confidence and perform mental challenges in an invigorating urban park. Small prizes will be awarded for all participants.
