Join the Robbins Library and the South Sudanese Community Center as we celebrate Sudanese Culture in conjunction with the Arlington Reads Together activities. The Sudanese Education Fund will dazzle the Arlington community with dancing and drumming! The Sudanese will share with you delicious cookies made by the Sudanese women served with traditional African tea.

For children, make and take home a clay cow, a favorite traditional activity done by Sudanese boys from some of the villages in South Sudan. View a slide show of current life in South Sudan. Begin the holiday season at this event by purchasing holiday cards, note cards, tablecloths, napkins and aprons made from African fabric.

Please join us for a wonderful afternoon learning about the culture of Sudan! If you have any questions please call Susan Winship at 781-641-0063. For more information about the South Sudanese Education Fund, please check out their website at http://www.sudaneseeducationfund.org/.
