Jerry Arcari of Landry & Arcari, Salem and Boston, MA, speaks on the wonderful collection of hand-woven oriental rugs in New England imported by many sea captains over the years and takes you on a journey to enjoy some of these special pieces of floor art.

He will also discuss the hand woven rug industry over the past century and how it has changed, and enlighten you on what to look for when buying an oriental carpet. Landry & Arcari is the Oriental Rug & Carpet sponsor of the 2010 North Shore Design Show.
