Enjoy 'Japanese Doll Day' at the Peabody Essex Museum which will exhibit its own beautiful doll collection and offers a series of activities and performances for families to enjoy.

11:00-11:30am and 1:00-1:30pm
Koto performances
Japanese Art Gallery

Mother and daughter Tomoko and Katie Graham perform on the traditional koto, a stringed, zitherlike instrument.

1:00-1:30pm
Drop-in art activities
Art Studio

Make your own origami hina doll and bookmark and make pretend sushi.

2:00-2:30pm
Story time: Japanese Favorites

Japanese Art Gallery

Gather with your children in the Japanese Art Gallery and hear some popular Japanese children's stories. Listen to tales about long-nosed goblins and a delightful hero who is only one inch tall! Made possible by HP Hood LLC.
