Magic Beans is six years old and it’s party time! To celebrate, on Wednesday July 7th, customers can save 6% on everything the store. In addition to the sale, kids and parents are invited to partake in entertainment and refreshments all day long.
At 11:15, Magic Beans co-founders Sheri and Eli Gurock will be in the store to say hi. Elmo will make an appearance at 11:30. Cupcakes furnished by Party Favors in Brookline will be served at noon and there will be face painting by Jill Reed from Baja Face Painting from 2-3pm. Wayne Potash, a popular, local children’s musician, will be giving a free concert at 5:30 p.m.
“Every year is a milestone, especially in this economic environment” says Sheri Gurock, co-founder of Magic Beans. “We are happy that we have been a part the Boston community for the past six years, and we want all of our customers to know that we recognize their loyalty and we’re thanking them with a special discount, food, and fun!'

Wayne Potash is known for playing the most fun and engaging family concerts in New England. He has several albums available for purchase at the Magic Beans store. One of his CDs “Don’t Forget the Donut” won the Parents’ Choice Award. Wayne currently provides music programs for over a dozen schools and lives in Easton, MA.
