Magic Beans in Wellesley is celebrating its 6th Birthday with Debbie and Friends

This Wednesday Magic Beans is celebrating 6 years since the first store opened back in 2004. Magic Beans Wellesley will be hosting a birthday extravaganza for kids and parents. In addition to the festivities, customers will save 6% on everything in the store. Needham’s newest bakery, Treat Cupcake Bar, will be serving up some of their sugary confections at noon and there will be face painting from 12 - 1 p.m. At 1:30 p.m.,

Magic Beans co-founders Sheri and Eli Gurock will be in the store to say hi. Elmo will make an appearance at 2 p.m. Later in the afternoon, Magic Beans is hosting popular children’s entertainer, Debbie Cavalier of Debbie and Friends, who will be performing a free concert in the store at 5:30 p.m. The Gelato Cafe will be offering vouchers for free gelato after the concert.

A birthday is about having fun, and Sheri and Eli Gurock the co-founders of Magic Beans want to share their festivities with the community. “We’re happy to extend our celebration to all the parents and kids in the area,” says Sheri, “we want to listen to great music with our customers, eat amazing cupcakes, and even get our faces painted along with the kids!”

It’s that youthful spirit that drove Sheri and Eli to open the Magic Beans location in Wellesley almost three years ago. The Wellesley store is the largest of the four Magic Beans locations, and the airy space is filled with cribs, highchairs, car seats, and a huge array of kids’ toys. “We love our Wellesley store,” says Eli, “it doesn’t have the same space constraints as the other three stores and we can really show off our range of products.”
