Profile-Taking. Silhouette artist Jean Comerford is a master of this fascinating craft and will record a precious moment in time for members of your family.

Appointments are scheduled 9:30-4:30 on Friday, April 29 and Saturday, April 30; 9:30-3:00 on Sunday, May 1.

Children ages six months and up and adults of all ages are welcome. Profiles take about 10 minutes for each sitting.

Silhouette Artist Jean Comerford

This is no tracing on black contruction paper, with the bright light/shadow thing you had done in the second grade. The profile Ms. Comerford creates is exquisite. As she looks at the subject (my daughter) she cuts a true sillouette with paper and scissors. Freehand. Hand to eye coordination. In ten minutes. Detailed. Showing the streaks of blonde in R's hair, a bow, the pout of her lips. Mind-blowing. If EVER you see her at a fair, (and she usually does The Big E) plunk down the 25.00 bucks and come home with an extrodinary, one of a kind, old charm, piece of art.
