Mark your calendar and bring your family and friends to The Great Pumpkin Give-A-Wey on Saturday, October 2. This festive fall event will take place at the Town Hall Parking Lot, Amphitheater and Libby Field from 12:00-4:00pm and will be an afternoon full of activities for the whole family.

Simply make a donation to your favorite non-profit Weymouth group and gain entry to the Great Pumpkin Patch, where you can pick a free pumpkin! Throughout the afternoon, there will be food concessions, karaoke with DJ Paul Q, live music by Stop Ready, hayrides, pony rides, amusements and more.

Be sure to stop by the Chowder Contest to taste and judge chowder from several local restaurants. To date, participants include Blue Pointe Bistro, Ecco, Hearth & Kettle, Peppercornz, Prevites, Stockholders, Venetian and Warren’s Place. Don’t miss it!

For your convenience, free parking will be available at Academy Avenue and Chapman Middle Schools. For more information please contact the Mayor’s Office at 781.340.5012.

Free to enter, free hayrides, free entertainment. Make a donation to your favorate local charity and get a ticket to select a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. Nominal fee for pony rides and amusement rides.
