Have a “rail” fun time watching trains traversing bridges, disappearing into
tunnels, and stopping to pick up tiny passengers along the way as we celebrate 17 years of Train Time exhibits at the museum.

Train fans will delight in two room-size model train layouts with engines racing around a 400+ square foot O-Gauge track reminiscent of holiday department store displays of the 1950s and a Standard Gauge layout of the 1920s and 1930s.

4-starGreat for Young Kids
I took my 3.5 year old and 7 month old sons to see the trains. This was very well-done for younger children. There were 16 train tracks set up. The displays had buttons for the kids to push to start the trains and turn on the lights. There were stools that the kids could move around to stand on to get a good view. The displays are very detailed, with miniature buildings, vehicles and people in all kinds of scenes. We stayed for about 2 hours and this was about the maximum time I can imagine spending at the exhibit. The price was ok, $20 for 2 adults/1 child (baby was free). Not too crowded so there was no problem seeing everything. If your kids are into trains, this would be a hit. There is also a kids play area in the museum for some additional entertainment.
