Designed for children ages 8 to 13.
The program will include:
- an overview of stamps and postal history
- using stamps to study US and World Geography
- learning about famous Americans using postage stamps
- tips on how to start a stamp collection
- an arts and crafts project using stamps
All children will receive a free packet of stamps and a first day cover.
The program is aimed at children who have not yet attended one of the
museum's Home Schoolers programs although repeat visitors are welcome.
Cost
The charge is $10 per child with no cost to adults.
Space is limited so reservations are required.
