Beacon Hill Stroller Tour

Cost: | $$ see below |
Category: | Special Events |
Next, the group will visit the Boston Athenaeum, one of the oldest private libraries in the country, and gather in the charming children’s library Preschool Room to hear Make Way for Ducklings. After walking through Beacon Hill, including a visit to historic Louisburg Square, the walk will wrap up in the Public Garden at Nancy Schoen’s statues of the ducklings, a perfect spot for a photo opportunity!
The tour will be led by urban historian J. Charles Swift, who has an encyclopedic knowledge of Boston’s architecture and development, and who has led many tours of Boston’s neighborhoods for children.
All parts of the tour will be stroller accessible; however children will need to be taken out of their strollers at the Boston Athenaeum where strollers will be parked in the lobby. Beacon Hill has very bumpy sidewalks, so an all terrain stroller is recommended.
