Salem hosts this year's Massachusetts Poetry Festival, a two-day gathering throughout the city with readings, workshops, panels, concerts, a small-press fair and more. Activities at PEM include a reading of ekphrastic poetry, poetry set to music, My Favorite Poem (with celebrity readers) and expressive arts inspired by the museum's collection.
