The Festival of Trees is an exhibit of decorated trees which will be raffled off at the end of the festival. Over forty artificial trees, in various sizes ranging from table top to five feet, have been offered for raffle so far. These trees are decorated in a classical, traditional or contemporary theme and have been donated by businesses, organizations, individuals and families.
The Festival of Trees exhibit is open to the public starting on November 17, 2005 until December 10, 2005 when the public is invited to attend the grand raffle drawing. Raffle tickets can be purchased at any time during the exhibit and the winner need not be present on December 10th to win. But you need not purchase raffle tickets to enjoy the splendor of these fabulous trees. Come view the trees to get ideas for your own tree or simply to enjoy the creativity of members of the community.
In addition to the tree display, there will be a series of events held at the museum in which the public is encouraged to participate. Among those planned are a holiday tea, scavenger hunt throughout the museum and an opportunity for family pictures with Santa Claus.
