For one day only, Dabblers will return to the year 1612 as Galileo makes a visit to discuss his discoveries in astronomy using his own version of the modern telescope, his 'spyglass'. Galileo will lead spirited talks with visitors to the store and relate the issues and problems he encountered with the other philosophers of his time. (Actor Mike Francis will portray Galileo for this visit to Dabblers hobbies+café).
There will be three lectures: 12:30, 2:30 & 4:30, and telescope viewing and telescope-making activities for kids all day long.
