Enjoy a hands on experience with 150-foot cranes, giant plow trucks, public safety vehicles, tow trucks, a cement mixer, and even a helicopter. Cummings Properties will display several of its own vehicles, including a still-in-operation 1968 “Snow Blaster,” which has the capacity to move 1400 tons of snow per hour!
Visitors will also be able to meet the personnel who protect and serve the local community.
Woburn Fire Department will demonstrate how its “Jaws of Life” can slice through the roof of a car to quickly free trapped passengers, and the United States Marines will showcase a military “Humvee” and personnel carrier.
Canaligator, the Lowell Spinners’ mascot, will attend the family-friendly event, as well as Bob the Builder, who will distribute complimentary souvenir hard hats and balloons.
Admission and parking are free, and food and drinks will be available for purchase from local providers and Woburn Cub Scout Pack 502.
