On Sunday, September 25th, 2011, The Newton Partnership is hosting the third annual Newton Touch-A-Truck event from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Newton South High School at 140 Brandeis Rd. in Newton Centre.

Kids will have the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a big rig, touch the scoop of a digger, see the inside of an ambulance, sit in a police cruiser, walk up the ramp of a delivery vehicle, and much more. More than 30 trucks are expected. The event is FREE for all.

Participating families can chose to have their children fingerprinted at no cost through “MY CHIP,” which provides tools to help law enforcement authorities find and identify a lost or missing child. Rain or Shine.
